Privacy Policy

Finish Line Games Inc. (“Finish Line Games”, “we”, “us”) is a video game studio based in Toronto, Canada. This page explains, in plain English, what personal information we collect through finishlinegames.com and how we use it.

What we collect

• Email address — only when you submit one to a “Notify me” form for a game. We use a third-party email service to manage the list and send the updates; we don’t share, sell, or rent the list to anyone.
• Server request logs — our hosting provider keeps standard request logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) for security and abuse-prevention purposes. These rotate out on the provider’s normal cycle.

What we don’t collect

• No analytics, no visitor tracking. We don’t run any analytics or tracking tool today. If that ever changes we’ll update this page first.
• No cookies set by us. The static site itself sets no cookies.
• No comments, no accounts, no logins. The site is fully static — there’s nothing to sign up for and nothing to leave a comment on.

Embedded content

Our game pages embed YouTube trailers from youtube.com. When a trailer plays, YouTube sets its own cookies and may track your interaction with the embedded video. That’s governed by Google’s privacy policy, not ours.

How we use your email

When you join a Notify-me list, we’ll send you updates about that specific game — typically a few emails per year tied to material events (reveal, launch, anniversary). Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link.

Data retention

We hold on to email addresses until you ask us to delete them — either through the unsubscribe link in any of our emails, or by emailing info@finishlinegames.com.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (Canada’s PIPEDA, the EU’s GDPR, the UK’s UK-GDPR, California’s CCPA, etc.), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email info@finishlinegames.com and we’ll take care of it.

Children

The site isn’t directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If we materially change this policy we’ll update the “last updated” date above and, where required, notify affected subscribers.
